Short, and in plain words, because the people reading this are booking a tattoo, not negotiating a contract.
What this service is
Aurum Haus is operated by Aurum Genesis LLC, a California limited liability company. It provides booking, client portals, and design tools for tattoo studios. When you request a booking, your appointment is with the studio — the studio decides its own prices, deposit policy, and schedule. We operate the software that carries that relationship.
Deposits and refunds
A studio's deposit and refund policy is shown to you before you pay. The policy as shown at that moment is the one that governs your booking — a later change to the studio's policy never applies to a deposit you already placed. Refund outcomes follow that recorded policy; payments are processed by Stripe.
Your account
Sign-in is by email link — there is no password. Anyone with access to your inbox can access your account, so keep your inbox secure. Links expire quickly and work once.
The Design Lab
Design Lab images are AI-generated concepts and previews — they are simulations, not photographs of a healed tattoo, and the final work is always the artist's. Trying a design on your own photo requires confirming you are 18 or older. Generation has usage limits.
Acceptable use
Do not upload photographs of other people without their agreement, use the service to harass anyone, probe or disrupt the platform, or submit bookings you do not intend. Studios may decline bookings at their discretion.
The honest caveats
The service is provided as-is, without warranty. We work to keep it available and correct, and we tell the truth about what it does — see the privacy page for exactly what happens to your photos — but we do not promise uninterrupted service.
Changes
When these terms change, the change appears on this page. Consent you gave is recorded with the wording you actually saw, so a later change to the wording never rewrites what you agreed to.
